Dover Kennel, located in Andover, Minnesota is home to our wonderful Standard Poodles.  Dover Kennel also operates as a Boarding Kennel and provides boarding services for dogs from all over the Minneapolis, St. Paul Area.

 

Our principal owner, Jill Huston has always had a passion for dogs.  Before owning Dover Kennel, Jill served as a Veterinary Technician for 16 years and worked in a number of local animal hospitals.  She also worked for other boarding facilities in the area. Jill is a member of the Minnesota Purebred Dog Breeders Association and has over 30 years of dog breeding experience.  She is well known for her work with Jack Russell Terriers.  One of her Jack Russells has been featured in several Target ads and was recently included in the newly released book "Dogface" by Barbara O'Brien. One of her more recent pups was selected as a Diabetic Alert Dog.  Jill understands the importance of health testing, quality selection and breed preservation.   Jill knows dogs and puppy buyers should know Jill.

Jill's husband, Mark Anderson has raised and trained Labrador Retrievers in the past and is excited to own and train Bonnie, our brown Standard Poodle.  Mark has found Poodles very easy to train and he enjoys working with them.Mark will be helping Jill with raising and training puppies and handling customer relations.

Our Poodles are in homes across the United States from Connecticut to California and even internationally to China.

We raise each and every puppy as though they were our own.  We stand behind our Poodles and offer you lifelong Breeder support at no extra cost.
